Terms of Use

Which of Cotra's terms apply to you, and where to find them. Cotra's terms are role-specific.

Effective 9 August 2026

Cotra's terms are role-specific. Which document applies to you depends on how you use the platform. Both sit alongside the Privacy Policy, which applies to everyone.

If you are a parent, guardian or adult athlete

The Athlete and Guardian Terms and Conditions govern your account. They cover accepting a coach's invitation, what Cotra has and has not checked about that coach, bookings, safeguarding, and your rights as a consumer.

You accept these when you redeem a coach's invitation and create your account.

If you are a coach

The Coach Agreement governs your account. It covers your status as an independent provider of coaching services, your safeguarding and insurance responsibilities, platform fees, and suspension or termination.

You accept this when you create your coach account.

What Cotra is, in short

Cotra is a management tool for coaches and the families they already work with. A coach invites people they already coach into a private space to share availability, take booking requests and message.

Cotra is not a marketplace. We do not introduce, select, recommend, endorse or verify coaches, and we are not a party to the coaching itself — the coach provides the coaching service, and the contract for it is between the coach and the person booking.

Governing law

Both documents are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
